CHEMSTA’s Soy Protein Concentrate Project Wins First Prize from China Cereals and Oils Association
On November 10, 2021, the China Cereals and Oils Association (CCOA) announced the winners of its 2021 Science and Technology Awards, with the “Large-Scale Intelligent Ethanol Extraction Technology for Soy Protein Concentrate” project taking the top honor.
Developed by Shandong CHEMSTA Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd., this innovative technology had previously been certified by an expert panel organized by the China Cereals and Oils Association as possessing independent intellectual property rights and achieving world-leading technical standards.
The advanced large-scale intelligent alcohol extraction system integrates cutting-edge technologies such as two-step extraction, three-stage drying, and four-effect evaporation, successfully overcoming key challenges in soy protein concentrate production. The system has secured 24 national patents, including 3 invention patents and 2 software copyrights. Additionally, CHEMSTA developed specialized process control software for plant protein extraction, enabling intelligent operation, digital management, intrinsic safety, and flexible production. This innovation has significantly streamlined management, enhanced product quality, reduced energy consumption, and eliminated environmental pollution, achieving green and sustainable production.
The technology has been successfully implemented in multiple large-scale projects, including:
- Xingyu (Fujian): 70,000 tons/year
- Beihe (Tianjin): 70,000 tons/year
- Zhongyang (Shandong): 60,000 tons/year
- Changde (Fujian): 40,000 tons/year
- Wonderful (Shandong): 30,000 tons/year
These applications have delivered substantial economic and social benefits, reinforcing CHEMSTA’s leadership in the industry.
