Vertical disc dryer is a new type of conduction drying equipment developed by CHEMSTA for drying low moisture content materials, which has the advantages of continuous operation, airtight operation, high evaporation intensity, reasonable distribution of humidity gradient, low power consumption, and small floor space, etc. Meanwhile, its configuration is simple and does not need cyclone dust collector which is necessary for airflow drying. At the same time, its configuration is simple, do not need the cyclone dust collector which must be configured for airflow drying, and do not use hot air as the heating medium, therefore, it will not cause product loss due to the bad separation of hot air and dust entrained with the tail gas.

The disk dryer consists of drying disk, rake arm, a number of rake leaves mounted on the rake arm, roller, spindle, transmission device, shell and other components. Hollow drying disk through the heating medium, drying disk in the dryer horizontal layer arrangement, drying disk is stationary, the material on the disk in the rake leaves to promote the movement, in the process of movement by the drying disk heating to complete the drying. Because of the different parameters of each material, the actual design needs to determine the number of layers of drying disk according to the output, nature, initial and final moisture content of the material to be dried.

 

Features of the equipment:

(1) Continuous operation, high thermal efficiency, little exhaust gas carryover, and its thermal efficiency can reach more than 85%.

(2) Good airtightness of the equipment. Drying exhaust gas is almost completely steam, which can be further utilized as a heat source, and the thermal efficiency is further improved.

(3) Low power consumption and low noise. The material layer is thin, the spindle speed is low, and the power and noise required by the material transfer system are small.

(4) The material is heated evenly. Due to the drying process, the material in the drying disk along the Archimedes spiral trajectory tumbling forward, and layer by layer down, so the material contact with the heating disk surface time is basically the same, the heat is very uniform, the whole process is not back to mix the material phenomenon.

(5) material loss is small, and is conducive to environmental protection. Material in and out, wet and dry, dry exhaust gas flow rate is very low, the material dust is difficult to float to the top of the equipment, will not be entrained by the exhaust discharge, neither loss of materials, nor pollution of the environment.

(6) The whole set of equipment vertical work, covers an area of small. The equipment is closed and operated continuously, and the labor intensity of workers is low.

(7) Small impact on product quality. It can dry low moisture materials, and the operation is flexible.
