Caring for Employees’ Health, Forging a Warm Safety Barrier: CHEMSTA Co-hosts Health Education Event with the Heart Failure Specialty Alliance of the Affiliated Hospital of Jining Medical University
To effectively safeguard employees’ physical health and convey the company’s humanistic care, on December 18, CHEMSTA specially invited a multidisciplinary expert team led by Professor Zhang Jinguo, Chairman of the Heart Failure Specialty Alliance of the Affiliated Hospital of Jining Medical University. The team included Chief Physician Liu Shanjun from the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Chief Physician Wei Xiqing from the Cardiology Department, Chief Physician Zhai Ning from the Medical Imaging Department, Associate Chief Physician Xu Peng from the Neurology Department, and Associate Chief Physician Liu Lin from the Health Management Center. Nearly 100 of the company’s employees participated in the event.
The event was hosted by Chu Hongjun, Deputy General Manager of the company. He extended sincere gratitude to the Heart Failure Specialty Alliance for its care for the company’s employees, and congratulated the alliance on raising the homogenization level of heart failure diagnosis, treatment and management in the region and winning numerous honors since its establishment. In his speech, Professor Zhang Jinguo, Chairman of the alliance, noted that CHEMSTA’s high priority on employees’ health embodies the company’s humanistic care, and it is the bounden duty of the medical staff of the Heart Failure Specialty Alliance to safeguard employees’ health and provide zero-distance services.
At the event, Chief Physician Liu Lin from the Health Management Center delivered an excellent lecture themed “Common Problems in Health Check-ups and Corresponding Recommendations”. Combining with common health pain points of young employees such as staying up late, dietary imbalance and sedentary-related discomfort, she put forward practical suggestions from a clinical expert’s perspective. Chief Physician Wei Xiqing from the Cardiology Department, together with Yin Baichuan and Nie Yuqi from the Heart Failure Specialty Alliance, demonstrated First Aid Knowledge: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
During the health consultation session, employees actively consulted the experts about their personal health concerns. The experts answered the questions patiently and meticulously, and provided personalized health guidance and conditioning recommendations for them. The event also provided on-site services including blood pressure measurement and electrocardiogram (ECG) testing, enabling employees to receive professional health screenings without leaving the workplace.
CHEMSTA has always adhered to the people-oriented development philosophy, attaching great importance to employees’ physical and mental health. It has regularly organized caring initiatives such as health check-ups and knowledge lectures, effectively putting care for employees into practice. This health education event has not only enhanced employees’ health awareness and self-care ability, but also strengthened team cohesion. Going forward, CHEMSTA will further deepen cooperation with medical institutions, carry out regular health care activities, safeguard employees’ physical and mental health, and wholeheartedly do practical things and solve problems for employees.
