CHEMSTA Annual Report 2024
Dear Customer,
We are Shandong Chemsta Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd., a company that has been committed to the general contracting engineering and equipment manufacturing of vegetable oil processing (soybean, peanut, rapeseed, sunflower seed, cottonseed, corn germ, etc.) and vegetable protein (soybean protein concentrate, soybean protein isolate, cottonseed protein, etc.) for almost 50 years.
Starting from 2021, we have decided to report to you annually for at least the next 30 years on the projects we signed, currently under construction, and have completed last year. This will help you understand what CHEMSTA has done in the past year or two years (some are large-scale projects that may last for two years), in order to help you better understand CHEMSTA.

Now we would like to introduce parts of our projects in the past 2024:
(1) 500T/D Sunflower (Soybean) Crushing Project
The project was signed in 2023, with shipments commencing in 2024.
This batch of equipment is a supporting equipment for oil pressing and extraction production line, which can process 500 tons of oilseeds per day. It is a set of oilseeds pressing and oil production line built by CHEMSTA for Irkutsk Oblast Oil Factory in Russia. It can process both soybeans and rapeseed. The entire production line uses computer central control and fully automatic control operation, and meets the Eurasian Economic Union (EAC) certification requirements. After the completion of the project, it will become the most modern oilseeds processing and oil production line in eastern Siberia, Russia.
Irkutsk Oblast Oil Factory is currently the largest edible oil producer in the East Siberian region. Its group company’s business involves multiple fields such as oilseeds planting, warehousing and processing, livestock and poultry breeding, slaughter and refrigeration, dairy and pastry production, and is one of the five giants in the Russian food industry. After repeatedly comparing and inspecting the system solutions provided by CHEMSTA with world-renowned brands suppliers in the early stage, we ultimately chose to cooperate with CHEMSTA.

Product quality not only met contractual specifications but exceeded them, earning high recognition from customers.
The 30,000-ton annual output food-grade soybean protein concentrate production line of Shandong Sinoglory Health Food Co., Ltd, uses an integrated energy-saving system for drying and evaporation, achieving intelligent control throughout the process. This not only improves product quality but also sets a new record in comprehensive energy consumption.
The 70,000-ton annual output feed-grade soybean protein concentrate production line of Tianjin Beihe Technology Co., Ltd. utilizes over 50 innovative technologies such as super-large extractors, energy-saving drying techniques, and multi-effect evaporation. It achieves energy conservation, environmental protection, and intelligence in the production process, marking the operation of another concentrated protein production line with the largest single-line scale in the world.
The 30,000-ton annual output peanut protein production line of Yantai Ouguo Peanut Oil Co., Ltd. produces milky food-grade peanut protein. As the first production line in China to adopt low-temperature desolventizing technology for peanut protein production, it paves a successful way for large-scale production of high-end peanut protein products.
In the field of deep processing of plant protein, Chemsta continuously innovates and makes breakthroughs in aspects like high product quality, low-carbon energy consumption, intelligent operation, and large-scale production. It has been successively given honorary titles such as national specialized and innovative “little giant” enterprise, “Shandong Province manufacturing individual champion enterprise”, and one of the first batch of “advanced small and medium-sized enterprises in Shandong Province”.
(5) 300TPD Chili Pigment Extraction Project
The project was signed in May 2024 and commenced operations smoothly in December 2024, with its product specifications and consumption rates exceeding contractual requirements.
The project uses chili granules as the raw material. After solvent extraction, pigment and capsaicin are extracted. The principle of the project is similar to that of plant oilseed extraction, but the process is slightly different.
Qingdao Redstar Chemical Group Co., Ltd. (referred to as “Redstar”) is an outstanding chemical production enterprise with a history of over 50 years. It has now evolved into a large enterprise group that spans multiple industries and regions and features prominent main businesses. Redstar encompasses 8 secondary enterprises (among which Guizhou Redstar Developing Co., Ltd. was listed in 2001), 19 tertiary enterprises, and 3 Sino-foreign joint ventures. The main business scope of Redstar includes natural pigments, barium salts, strontium salts, manganese salts, new energy, new materials, cultural industries, logistics, import and export trade, etc. As of now, in terms of scale, Redstar holds the leading position within the domestic industry.
While selecting suppliers, Redstar conducted a rigorous investigation on various suppliers. After numerous exchanges between the two sides, Redstar ultimately chose Chemsta as the supplier for its new project.

Patents&Honors：
In addition to providing clients with complete engineering solutions, Chemsta also successfully applied for several patents in 2024.
In recent years, with the development strategy that innovation is the primary productive force, Chemsta has continued to expand the investment in research and development(R&D). Besides, our company has made a series of achievements in the field of vegetable oil and soybean deep processing in 2024.
10 new patents were granted in the first half of the year, including 6 invention patents.
On May 17th, our 3 research and development projects were approved by the Enterprise Technology Innovation Project of Shandong Province.
On May 21st, the first batch of digital economy innovation platforms of Shandong Province was announced, among which Chemsta was listed. We have become a model leading the high-quality development of the industry, based on our excellent innovation ability, outstanding R&D achievements and digital application capability.
Our company was selected on the recognized list with two technologies, “Vegetable Oil and Protein Deep Processing Technology and Equipment” and “Low-Temperature Soybean Meal and Vegetable Protein Processing Complete Sets of Technology and Equipment Manufacturing Technology”. The name list was recognized by the Shandong Engineering Research Center and Shandong Province “One Enterprise One Technology” R&D Center, and announced by Shandong Development and Reform Commission on July 8th and Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology on July 12th.
Undertake the construction with annual outputs of 30,000 tons of food-grade soybean protein concentrate, 45,000 tons of peanut protein, and 70,000 tons of feed-grade soybean protein concentrate and other projects. These projects have been successfully installed and will be in the commissioning phase. Additionally, projects such as capsanthin and capsaicin extraction, soybean phospholipid, ASME pressure vessel, and conventional oil extraction are in design and production.
From now on, Chemsta will firmly establish the development strategy taking innovation as the core competitiveness, accelerate the pace of major technological innovation, keep oriented to the frontier of deep processing technology of vegetable oil and soybean protein to meet the needs of industrial development, strive to make key technological breakthroughs, industrialization of scientific and technological achievements and other related work, promote the high-quality development of the industry and share the innovation fruits with global customers!
Shandong Province Advanced Small and Medium-sized Enterprise
In January 2024, the Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology announced the inaugural list of Shandong Provincial Advanced SMEs. Following procedures including voluntary enterprise applications, municipal recommendations, expert evaluations, and consultation with relevant authorities, CHEMSTA was successfully selected.
Shandong Advanced SMEs refer to high-quality small and medium-sized enterprises within Shandong Province that demonstrate strong comprehensive capabilities, significant innovation advantages, high growth potential, and alignment with the province’s strategic development priorities and key industrial policy support directions.
For years, CHEMSTA has upheld the corporate spirit of “Innovation, Development, Harmony, and Win-win,” prioritizing technological innovation and the commercialization of scientific achievements. The company has established three provincial-level R&D centers—the Shandong Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center, the Shandong Provincial Industrial Design Center, and the Shandong Provincial Enterprise Technology Center—alongside five municipal-level R&D centers. It has also forged industry-academia-research partnerships with Shandong Provincial “Enterprise Technology Center,” and Shandong Provincial “Industrial Design Center,” along with five municipal-level R&D centers. Concurrently, it has established industry-academia-research partnerships with multiple domestic universities and research institutions, securing over 130 intellectual property rights and participating in the formulation of eight national and industry standards. The company has been honored with titles including National Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative “Little Giant” Enterprise, Shandong Provincial Gazelle Enterprise, and Shandong Provincial Manufacturing Single Champion Enterprise.

Shandong Province Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award
In September 2024, the list of winners for the 2024 Shandong Provincial Mechanical Industry Science and Technology Awards was announced. The project “Innovative Design and Manufacturing of an Integrated Energy-Saving System for Ethanol-Based Soybean Concentrated Protein Drying and Evaporation” was honored with the First Prize. Four other projects—including “Application of Improved Plasma Arc Welding + TIG Welding Combination Process in Oil Processing Equipment” and “Discrete Element Simulation Optimization of Material Distribution Effect in Flip-Type Cooler Distributors Based on EDEM”—received Third Prizes.
All these award-winning projects were independently developed by Shandong Kaishida Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. Among them, the “Integrated Drying and Evaporation” technology employs a three-stage drying and four-effect evaporation process system, significantly optimizing production metrics. This technology has been evaluated by the expert panel as “possessing independent intellectual property rights with overall technical standards leading internationally.” The four innovative projects—including “Improved Plasma Arc Welding + TIG Welding Combination Process” and “Discrete Element Simulation of Flip-Flop Cooler Material Distribution Effectiveness”—all originated from specific production practices during R&D. This demonstrates the company’s commitment to independent innovation and its positioning of technological advancement as a core competitive strength.

In October 2024, the Shandong Provincial Federation for Integrated Innovation Among Enterprises of All Sizes announced the preliminary list of enterprises to be recognized under the 2024 “Shandong Manufacturing” brand. CHEMSTA secured its place on the list through its comprehensive capabilities in technological innovation, product quality, and market share, achieved with its complete set of technical equipment for the “Innovative Design and Manufacturing of an Integrated Energy-Saving System for Alcohol-Based Soybean Concentrated Protein Drying and Evaporation.”
The 2024 “Shandong Manufacturing” Brand initiative implements the directives outlined in the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government’s “Shandong Province 14th Five-Year Plan for Building a Manufacturing Powerhouse,” “Action Plan for Building an Advanced Manufacturing Powerhouse (2022-2025),” and the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology’s “Action Plan for Enhancing the ‘Shandong Manufacturing’ Brand.” and the “General Rules for Shandong Manufacturing Brand Recognition.” It aims to elevate the overall quality of manufacturing, cultivate a cohort of internationally competitive brand enterprises and products, and guide Shandong’s manufacturing sector toward high-end, intelligent, and green transformation and upgrading.
