University-Enterprise Collaboration Empowers Industrial Upgrading

To further advance industry-university-research cooperation and precisely meet the technical upgrading demands of fermented soybean meal industry, Professor Cui Bo, Dean of the School of Food Science and Engineering, Qilu University of Technology, led a delegation to visit CHEMSTA for a symposium on March 18. Zhang Ming, Chairman of CHEMSTA, attended the meeting.

Zhang Ming extended a warm welcome to the delegation led by Dean Cui Bo. He noted that CHEMSTA focuses on core businesses including vegetable oil extraction and soybean protein processing, and actively promotes integrated innovation of fermentation technology and equipment R&D. Taking this exchange as an opportunity, the company expects to deepen collaborative research with the university, tackle key technical bottlenecks such as fermentation process optimization, quality control and safe production, and accelerate the transformation and application of scientific research achievements.

The discussion centered on the process characteristics and industrial application research of fermented soybean meal. Dean Cui Bo introduced the college’s scientific research achievements and platform strengths in food biological fermentation, high-value protein utilization, biological feed development and intensive processing of agricultural products. He stated that the college’s research directions are highly consistent with CHEMSTA’s industrial layout. In the future, the college will give full play to its advantages in talents, scientific research and platforms, precisely align with corporate technical needs, and serve the quality improvement, efficiency enhancement and transformation of agricultural product processing and biological feed industries through in-depth integration of industry, university, research and application.
