Experts Empower and Wisdom Gathers at Chemsta: Led by Academician Jiang Lianzhou, Jointly Drawing a New Blueprint for the protein Industry.
On Ocotober 12, Academician Jiang Lianzhou of the International Academy of Food Science and Technology, former dean, Second-level Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of the College of Food Science of Northeast Agricultural University, led an expert team to Chemsta for discussion and exchange. Li Yang (Assistant Dean, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, College of Food Science of Northeast Agricultural University), Qi Baokun (Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, College of Food Science of Northeast Agricultural University), and Liu Baoqun (Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, College of Food Science and Engineering, Jilin University) visited together. Zhang Guangyu, Party Secretary and Chairman of Shandong Ronghui Group, and Zhang Ming, chairman of Chemsta, warmly received the guests and attended the forum.
At the form, Academician Jiang Lianzhou delivered a special report titled Research Progress and Future Prospects of Soybean Processing Technologies. The report systematically sorts out the current situation of China’s soybean processing industry, interprets cutting-edge technological achievements in depth, and analyzes core technical difficulties in the industry. Academician Jiang Lianzhou pointed out that the soybean industry shall transform toward full-component high-value utilization, green, intelligent and flexible manufacturing, so as to realize efficient resource utilization and sustainable development. Balancing theory and practice, this report provides important support for Chemsta’s technology iteration, process upgrading and product quality improvement.
Subsequently, both sides held in-depth discussions on key topics including deep processing of soybeans, high-value utilization of protein, optimization of complete sets of equipment and industrial implementation. Combined with Chemsta’s practical experience in equipment manufacturing and project implementation, both sides systematically explored the integration path of basic research, equipment R&D and large-scale production, defined the main direction of industry-university-research joint innovation, and provided solid intellectual support for high-quality industrial development.
Zhang Guangyu, Party Secretary and Chairman of Shandong Ronghui Group, welcomed the experts and introduced the Group’s industrial layout and development strategy for the medium and long term. He stated that based on the overall national food security situation, the group will coordinate and integrate upstream and downstream resources, and continuously deepen industry-university collaborative cooperation with university teams. He stressed that the group shall concentrate efforts to tackle key core technologies for deep processing of soybean protein, open up the whole chain from R&D to industrialization, and accelerate the building of an innovation hub for the plant protein industry.
Zhang Ming, Chairman of Chemsta, said that the visit of the academician and expert team creates an important opportunity for the company to seize development opportunities in the new protein industry and break through core technical bottlenecks.
